Students will learn where to search a computer for needed and essential artifacts from both applications and the operation system. This includes evidence from Internet and Cloud interactions and connections.
This advanced course will include looking at data from several perspectives and tools. It includes an in-depth look at File and Operating Systems, Metadata and Application Artifacts, and Cloud Data. Students will learn what, where, when, how, and why of these technologies.

Advanced Data Extraction and Analysis in Cyber Forensics is a certified 5-day course where students learn how to collect, acquire, extract, and then analyze digital forensic evidence. Students will learn various methods to extract data from computers using MS-Windows, Apple iOS, Android OS, Cloud Data, and IoT devices.
This hands-on course helps students understand the best methods and tools to use when collecting data from computers, smartphones, cloud, and IoT devices. Students will learn what IoT and Cloud data is available and to gain access to said data.
Advanced Smartphone and IoT Device Forensics
Advanced Smartphone and IoT Device Forensics is a certified 5-day course where students learn how to access, find, and then recover evidence found on smartphone, smart devices, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Students will learn ways of extracting data from a variety of smartphone devices.
Students will learn advanced methods of defeating data protection schemes, including data from embedded systems that are locked, damaged or unsupported. This recovery method works on newer devices that store data on eMMC or eMCP flash memory chips and recovered through the device’s test points.
