Oxygen Forensic® Detective Gets Better and Monthly Updates
- Mobile Data Extraction Enhancements: Enhancements include expanded extraction methods for increased access to evidence from mobile devices. Support for MTK-based and UNISOC-based devices with FBE has been significantly extended. The FFS method for Android devices is now compatible with Security Patch Level (SPL) up to October 2022. APK Downgrade method now supports Android devices from versions 5 to 13 and is compatible with more popular applications. iOS support has been improved, allowing full file system and keychain extraction from various iPhones and iPads.
- Cloud Data Extraction Improvements: Focus was directed towards enhancing support for 105 cloud services, introducing support for new services such as Huawei Health, LastPass, Clubhouse, Bumble, and Google Messages.
- Computer Artifacts Advancements: A notable breakthrough is the introduction of Oxygen Forensic® KeyDiver, our own brute force module for encrypted partitions, files, and applications. This allows finding passcodes to decrypt encrypted data. Additionally, deleted data recovery for NTFS, FAT16, FAT32, and exFAT file systems has been implemented, and the number of supported user and system artifacts for Windows, macOS, and Linux has been significantly increased.
- Data Import Additions: New evidence sources have been added, including Berla iVe backups, Inflight drone logs, Telegram Exported Data, Tinder archives, Instagram Account Copy, and MD-Next physical and logical FFS extractions of Android devices.
- Data Analysis Enhancement: The most significant improvement in data analysis is the integrated translation tool, supporting 20 language pairs. It allows the translation of messages in Applications, Messages, and Timeline sections, with the ability to export translated messages to data reports.
