Now we must ask, “Will my Browser and and Search Engine control my view on the world and my access to online data?”

Microsoft continues to put items on my monitor for me to read without, WITHOUT my permission, and move files and data on my system. And now, they hope to control my SEARCH and BROWSING activities.

This means Microsoft controls all that you search and view… how about that!

Microsoft’s new ChatGPT will reinvent and greatly improve two core products—the Bing search engine and the Edge browser.

The Bing search engine, Microsoft explained, now leverages a new natural language model called “Prometheus,” which Microsoft says is more powerful than ChatGPT. The company says that for more complex searches.

Microsoft has also found some sensible ways to integrate the OpenAI models into its Edge browser. A new Discover chat window appears at the right of the screen, which allows users to do things like create summaries of text-dense web pages or compose quick emails about the content of a web page.
