Magnet Forensics Inc., a developer of digital investigation solutions for more than 4,000 enterprises and public safety agencies in over 100 countries, announced today that it has acquired the strategic IP assets of High Peaks Cyber, a business dedicated to developing and delivering full-spectrum cyber capabilities across the government and commercial sectors.
Founded in 2021 and based in Utica, NY, High Peaks Cyber helps customers tackle their most difficult challenges in cyber with deep expertise in Android and iOS mobile device security, exploit solutions and vulnerability research. As part of this transaction, Magnet Forensics gains a highly experienced team of innovative researchers to add to their world class R&D team.

The team at High Peaks Cyber will be contributing to the vulnerability research team at Magnet Forensics, known as Magnet GRAYKEY Labs, which includes applied vulnerability researchers, exploit engineers, and access engineers. The team is dedicated to discovering 0-day vulnerabilities, building robust exploits, and scaling the deployment of those capabilities. The GRAYKEY Labs team also works closely with customers to ensure critical law enforcement missions have timely and reliable access to all mobile devices in their investigations.
