Rusolut has released Visual NAND Reconstructor (VNR) 8.1, introducing several key enhancements to streamline data recovery and digital forensics:
1. Enhanced Block Manager – The Block Manager has been significantly improved, consolidating functionalities from the previous Markers Table. This enhancement simplifies the assembly of logical images by blocks. Users can now edit markers such as Logical Block Number (LBN) and headers directly within the “Settings” tab. Additionally, operations applied to blocks can be reset, and interactive sorting features have been added for more efficient data management.
2. Solution Database Viewer – A new Solution Database Viewer allows users to manually search and filter a comprehensive list of solutions. This feature enables the selection of device-specific solutions, providing detailed instructions and the ability to add them to the workspace for further customization.
3. Adjustable Reader Voltages – Responding to user requests, VNR 8.1 now offers the option to adjust Vcc and VccQ voltages in 100mV increments. While standard values remain unchanged, this added flexibility supports a broader range of NAND chips, enhancing compatibility and data recovery success rates.
These updates in VNR 8.1 demonstrate Rusolut’s commitment to providing powerful and user-friendly tools for professionals in data recovery and digital forensics.
